Darwin Corp sends out Envoys to different planets to collect economically significant biological samples, so that they can be regrown and turned into a strategic competitive advantage.
To collect these samples, the company launched the Envoy Project: creating bioborgs that can consume samples and extract their genetic code for storage and analysis. With the ReGenesis machine, these creatures can be reproduced while retaining the genetic information they have collected, making them the perfect soldier-couriers.
When the creators of the program are put into jeopardy, the biopunk Envoy must decide whether it can become more than the open mouth and empty stomach it was designed to be...
This bioborg was engineered to collect genetic samples for Darwin Corp by consuming them. It can eat, but can it love?
These corpulescent desert sow are territorial and aggressive. During heat waves, they also produce a nauseating stench.
Robots engineered for ballistics research, they have gone off the deep end a bit, and launch a variety of objects at their testing range just for fun.
Cute and fuzzy, this creature is quite deceptive, and has been known to hide with pet store bunnies until it has the opportunity to pounce on unexpecting owners.
The commanding executive of the Envoy Project, Dr. Vazean has his career - and more - riding on its success. As such, he’s willing to push the Envoy further than the others.
His weapon is deadly...except in the rain.
Designed to cultivate rare and exotic flora, this robot also has basic self-defense routines. Very zen.
A Darwin Corp janitor that has been pressed into service operating a Goretech Gene Sequencer. Visit him to have random traits and genes spliced into the Envoy!
A strange and sentient species that could provide high value to the Envoy Project’s efforts, if anyone could catch it...
A zoologist that specializes in hybridization, Darnica is one of the creators of the Envoy. Warm-hearted and nurturing, Darnica’s “mama-bear” side comes out when it comes to her creation.
This aggressive creature uses light-bending membranes to camouflage with its environment. In the right weather, however, naturalists have been able to detect its outline.
Geneticist extraordinaire, Wagner also played a part in creating the Envoy. He developed the bioborg’s ability to analyze, store, and transmit an organism’s genetic code just by eating it.
A race of semi-intelligent subterraneans, Xenodwarfs have primitive weapons and acidic blood. Game over!
Massive creatures that disguise themselves as crashed snow speeders, these predators have been known to go dormant in extreme snow storms.
